Privacy Policy

FleetEzz is an internal fleet management application operated by 1850 Investments LLC for its employees and contracted drivers. It is not offered to the general public. This policy explains what the app records, why, and who can see it.

What we collect

• Account information. Your name and email address, entered by an administrator when your account is created. You do not register yourself.
• Location. Your approximate GPS location is recorded once, at the moment you start a trip, to record where that trip began. FleetEzz does not track your location continuously, in the background, or at any other time.
• Trip records. The vehicle you selected, start and end odometer readings, start and end times, and the mileage calculated from them.
• Vehicle condition photos. Photographs you choose to take documenting the condition of a vehicle.

How we use it

This information is used only to maintain vehicle mileage records, schedule and track maintenance, and administer the company fleet. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Who can see it

• Drivers see their own trip records.
• Administrators see records for the vehicles and drivers assigned to them.
• Super administrators see all fleet records.

Access is enforced at the database level, not only in the app.

Service providers

Data is stored with Supabase, which provides our database and account authentication. Notification emails are sent through Resend. Both process this data on our behalf and do not use it for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

Trip and maintenance records are kept for the life of the vehicle record, for maintenance history and compliance. If your account is deactivated, past trips remain attributed to you in those records.

Your choices

You can decline the location permission when the app asks, or turn it off later in your device settings. Trips can still be started and completed without it. To ask what personal information we hold about you, or to request its deletion, contact us using the address below. Deletion requests are subject to the record-keeping obligations described above.

Children

FleetEzz is a workplace tool for adults. It is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
